My Story
Hey there! I’m Chris Franzoni, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland—a city that’s as much a part of me as my love for food. If you’re here, you’re probably a little curious about the guy behind @EatMoreBeMore, so let me give you the scoop.
My journey into the world of food didn’t start in some fancy culinary school. Nope, it began right at the dinner table with my family. Every Sunday, like clockwork, we’d hit up a local Chinese restaurant in Westminster, MD. Those nights were pure magic—food, family, and a whole lot of laughter. Those early experiences planted the seed for what would eventually grow into a full-blown passion for all things food.
But before we get to that, let’s rewind a bit. I grew up in Baltimore and went to Friends School, where I learned the ins and outs of life—and maybe a little math, too. After high school, I headed to Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where I got a taste of college life and, of course, the local food scene. From there, it was off to New York Law School in Manhattan. If you’ve ever been to New York, you know it’s a food lover’s paradise, and let’s just say I did my fair share of exploring. Food became my comfort and my escape from the stress of law school and the impending bar exam. It’s no exaggeration to say that those New York bites kept me sane during those late-night study sessions.
Fast forward a few years, and I’m a full-fledged attorney. Yep, I’m still practicing law by day—helping clients navigate the complex world of legal stuff. But when the workday wraps up, my focus shifts from legal briefs to tasty eats. You see, food isn’t just something I enjoy; it’s something I live for. And that’s how @EatMoreBeMore was born.
It all started back in March 2015. Inspired by one of my best friends in Nashville (big shoutout to @NashvilleFoodFan!), I decided to launch @EatMoreBeMore as a way to spotlight Baltimore’s growing food and restaurant scene. At first, it was just a fun side project—a way to share my favorite local spots with friends and family. But pretty soon, it turned into something much bigger. Before I knew it, @EatMoreBeMore had blown up, attracting foodies from all over the DMV and beyond.
Now, with over 300,000+ followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X, @EatMoreBeMore has become one of the most influential food-focused platforms in the region. But here’s the thing—this isn’t just about snapping pics of pretty plates (though, let’s be real, that’s a big part of it). It’s about celebrating Baltimore and its incredible culinary scene, breaking down stereotypes, and showing the world that this city is about so much more than what you see on TV.
Speaking of TV, you might’ve caught me on a few local stations, or heard me chatting on Huber in the Morning on 100.7 The Bay. I also contribute regularly to The Baltimore Banner, where I dish out the latest on the best bites in town. And in 2023, I took things up a notch with a limited series podcast with No Pix After Dark, and even made an appearance on Vice’s “Late Night Munchies: Baltimore Edition.” Not bad for a lawyer moonlighting as a foodie, right?
But let’s talk about the real stars of the show—Baltimore’s local restaurants and businesses. Supporting them is what @EatMoreBeMore is all about. Sure, I’ve had the chance to work with some big names like McDonald’s, Dunkin’, Four Seasons, and even the Baltimore Ravens, but my heart belongs to the local spots that make this city special. That’s why I’m so excited about the dining guide I recently launched for Baltimore. It’s the city’s first-ever geo-tagged, constantly updated dining guide that takes the guesswork out of finding your next meal. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this guide has got you covered, with restaurant previews, social media links, and all the essential info you need to make your next meal memorable.
When I’m not working on @EatMoreBeMore, you’ll still find me doing what I do best—eating! But I’m also busy offering a range of services, from content creation and social media management to restaurant consulting and travel partnerships. I love using my platform to collaborate with others and share the best food experiences the Mid-Atlantic has to offer.
So, that’s a little bit about me. I’m not just an attorney or just a foodie—I’m both. And while I may joke around with the tagline “I’m not a foodie, I just eat a lot,” the truth is, I’m passionate about food and the stories behind it. Baltimore is my home, and I’m here to show the world just how amazing it—and its food—really is. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you stick around for the ride. Let’s eat (more)!
